John D. Buckles, Vice President and General Manager Yum! Restaurant GroupPepsiCo FoodserviceJohn is a veteran of the CPG world with GM, Sales, and Marketing experience at PepsiCo, Kellogg's, and Coca-Cola. Most of his time has been spent in Foodservice but he has also spent 5 years on the Retail side. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2006, John worked for Kellogg's. During his six years with Kellogg's, John was Managing Director of the Nordic Division based in Copenhagen Denmark, led sales for the Natural and Frozen Food Division, and led Marketing and National Accounts for Kellogg’s Foodservice Division. John began his career at The Coca-Cola Company. His last role was Vice President of the Quick Service Restaurant Channel for Coca-Cola USA Fountain. John led strategy and customer marketing for the QSR channel and led the team that managed some of Coca-Cola Fountain’s largest Quick Service customers in the United States. Finally, John has gained significant experience in various outside organizations including Board and Executive Committee roles with the Women's Foodservice Forum (current), the American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark, the American Frozen Food Institute, and the National Restaurant Associations Education Foundation. A native of Michigan, John received a B.S.B.A and majors in Management Information Systems and Marketing from Central Michigan University. John now lives in Chicago with his wife Diane and children Anna, Ryan and Nicholas.
Ron Ehrens, Plante & Moran, PLLCMarketing ManagerRon Ehrens is the Marketing Director for the two Chicagoland offices of Plante & Moran, the nation’s 12th largest accounting and consulting firm, and one of the fastest growing full service accounting firms in Chicago. In addition to his responsibilities in the Chicagoland market, Ron is the Marketing leader for the Plante Moran Global Services group and the Enterprise Risk Services team. Ron has been with the firm since October 2007 and is on the firm’s Marketing Leadership Team. Ron’s experience includes more than 25 years of business-to-business, business-to-consumer and professional services marketing experience. His proficiencies include direct marketing, customer acquisition and development, targeting, messaging and working with sales teams to identify and take advantage of business development opportunities. Prior to his role at Plante & Moran, Ron was Vice-President, Marketing, for American Hotel Register Company, a $650 million hotel supply company.
Amy Cosler, Landauer, Inc.Vice President, Sales and MarketingMs. Cosler is a highly accomplished, results oriented sales leader with more than 17 years of business experience concentrated in the healthcare market. Her functional area of expertise is sales and sales management, with a demonstrated passion and ability to consistently source and top grade talent. Her most recent professional adventure has involved rekindling her marketing background and academic experience to head up both Sales and Marketing for Landauer, Inc., a Chicago-based world leader in radiation detection and occupational monitoring. Here she blends her keen ear for the voice of the customer with sense of urgency to satisfy customer needs and drive sustainable revenue and operating earnings growth for the Landauer shareholder. Cosler has held positions of escalating experience from Sales Representative, Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Trainer, and Vice President of Sales with several leading organizations in the Healthcare market. Eleven of those years were with Cardinal Health, where she achieved or exceeded plan 10 of 11 years and earned such awards as Region Manager of the Year and the President's Award. Cosler earned her Bachelor of Business Administration at Kent State University in 1992, graduating Magna Cum Laude and immediately picked up a bag and beginning selling for Medi-Flex Hospital Products, where she also won Rep of the Year twice. In 2009, Cosler has been a featured panelist at the Sales Leader Roundtables at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, addressing Sales Strategies in a Challenging Economic Environment. She is also a member of the Executives' Club of Chicago. With a track record of success professionally, Cosler's greatest role is as mother of two energetic young girls. They are active in their church and love spending free time jumping on their trampoline, hosting friends at "Camp Cosler", or traveling the world. Their most recent travel adventure was to Hungary and Croatia.
