Social Media: Beyond the Chaos
While much has been contemplated and discussed about the continued and evolving space of social media, finding clarity in the midst of such a rapidly changing marketing landscape has become increasingly difficult. And while the topic of social media is the current – and over-hyped – darling of the marketing world, even the most seasoned marketers are finding it challenging to understand and effectively navigate. No doubt, in the social space marketers are bombarded with an unlimited number of fans and friends, tools and technologies, often without a real understanding of what is important, what is not, and what really all means.
But, while the medium has changed, the challenge of marketing has not – driving powerful, authentic and relevant conversations with your most critical consumers and customers that will champion your brand or product, influence "friends," drive demand, and convert sales.
Social Media: Beyond the Chaos will present a forum for both the most accomplished and frightened marketer alike to learn practical and valuable insights from the front lines of some of the most successful brands and campaign creators in both B2C and B2B social media marketing from across the greater Chicagoland marketplace. Come hear their stories, inquire about their successes and foibles, and socialize with a few, fellow marketers!
