Call for Board Nominations
The Chicago Chapter of the American Marketing Association’s Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for individuals with leadership and management experience to serve on 2013-2014 Board of Directors. These terms are an 18 month commitment, beginning in April 2013, and finishing in September 2014. The Chicago AMA Board consists of eleven officer positions, and up to 10 Director level positions. In general, new candidates for the Board will be considered for Director level positions, and candidates with prior Board experience will be considered for officer level positions.
The goal of this committee is to make the nomination process transparent
and to increase the diversity and number of qualified applicants for the
board. Interested parties must be members of the AMA and the Chicago
Chapter in good standing, have sound marketing experience, and a
willingness to commit three to seven hours a week to leading the chapter.
If you know someone who’d make a great volunteer leader – or if you’re
interested in serving, please complete the nomination form below, then our
Executive Director will send you an application. Once a nomination is
submitted, the candidate will receive a link to the application via email. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Long, Executive Director, michael@chicagoama.org.
The completed application must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7,
2012.
