Jay JamesVice President Exhibitor Sales - FreemanJay has worked in the exhibition marketing industry for fifteen years. As Vice President Exhibitor Sales for Freeman Corporate Accounts, Jay’s passion is making a difference through other people. He facilitates the sales and service of new and existing Freeman accounts. Jay approaches projects by understanding client objectives: who they seek to engage, and how Freeman can most successfully integrate image, performance, and budget parameters. In addition to his management duties, Jay is Freeman’s account executive for Dreamforce, an annual 10,000-attendee private event, hosted by San Francisco-based Salesforce.com. Earlier in his career, as an Account Executive, Jay successfully handled domestic and international design development and trade show program management for well-known companies such as Sanyo, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and EDS. As a speaker, Jay has presented before audiences at Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) on the topic of intellectual property rights, and American Marketing Association (AMA) on the topic of international exhibiting. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Radio, Television, and Film) from the University of North Texas. A fitness nut, guitar player, and frustrated freelance-writer, Jay currently resides in Dallas with his beautiful wife and three cats.
Mark NorbyVice President - Live MarketingMark Norby is Executive Vice President and Senior Creative Director at Live Marketing. He started his career as an actor, making multiple stage and television appearances and picking up a Chicago Emmy along the way. Mark’s on-screen corporate film work led to his working as a writer on film projects for Quaker Oats, Fisher Price, Gatorade and Hormel. He made the transition into tradeshows over twenty years ago working as a writer, producer and corporate spokesperson. Since that time he’s worked on over 1,500 Live Marketing projects, calling for the creation of a wide range of brand and messaging elements including themes, on-the-show-floor activities, live presentations, pre- and post-show marketing, graphics, video, multimedia and more. Throughout his career, Mark has had the opportunity to work closely with the top marketing minds at companies including 3M, Cisco Systems, DuPont, Fuji, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Keebler, Kodak, Motorola, Sprint, Swissray and Whirlpool. Mark also conducts seminars for EXHIBITOR learning events, Event Marketer Magazine’s conferences, the Trade Show Exhibitors Association, the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association and the Corporate Event Marketing Association. |
