TONIGHT - December 15, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Catalyst Ranch--Chicago Nonprofit Marketers Holiday Party.The cost to cover appetizers, soft drinks and a champagne toast is $15 AMA members/$20 non-members. In the spirit of the season and the need to support area nonprofits, guests are invited to bring an item to donate to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Here’s how to register and view the “high need” list of suggested donations. Nonprofit SIG members are Chicagoland nonprofit marketing professionals learning, connecting, and collaborating marketing strategies in the areas of fundraising, philanthropy, and social advocacy. Thursday, January 12, 2012, Google’s Chicago Office—The Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC) SIG secured a big draw for its first meeting--Drew Mitchell, head of industry-local at Google, where he manages clients across home services, personals, careers and real estate. Mitchell has led the development of key advertising relationships with Fortune 500 clients ADT, Dell, Sprint and Target. He plans to discuss how IMC drives his business solutions. The Nonprofit, IMC and Higher Education SIGs are three of nine new special interest groups that CAMA members developed in response to a growing, diverse membership looking for content and thought leadership relevant to their disciplines.
And, now the SIGs have their own website! Launched just last week, at http://www.chicagoama.org/chicago-ama-sigs , the page includes a linkto join the SIG(s) of your choice.
Remember, SIG events and activities are open to Chicago AMA members and non-members.
